SALT is engaged in the commercial and financial programme and in the follow-through in the production phase. Yohan is one of the largest children/family movies ever produced in Norway. It's developed by the creators of the famous classics Kammilla og Tyven 1 an 2; Grete Salomonsen and Odd Hynnekleiv.

Yohan is truly a remarkable project based on a true story around the hardship some children in Norway experienced not more than 100 years ago. At the age of 6-7 years children were sent off to labour on richer farms, sometimes in harsh conditions and under stringent regimes. The movie is dramatised and will be both exiting and emotional, with a feelgood flair. The best moral values will prevail in the end. In addition to portraying important national history, Yohan points to a current problem in less developed countries.

Jon is chairman of the board and associate producer and has been part of a small team financing the project.
